The UNICON Team Development Conference brings together executive education professionals from leading institutions around the world to learn from one another, exchange practical approaches, and explore how our field continues to evolve. This year's conference will welcome 200+ professionals to Arizona State University, November 18-20, for three days of learning, collaboration and connection. (UNICON)
As part of the conference, we invite UNICON member institutions to submit proposals for how we built it, a series of peer-led sessions focused on the real work behind building, changing, or improving executive education.
We're interested not only in what you built, but how you built it: the opportunity or challenge you identified, decisions you made, people you brought together, what worked, what didn't and what others can learn from the experience.
Session opportunities are intentionally limited to create a focused, high-quality program. We encourage interested teams to submit early for consideration. Selected presenters will also receive formal recognition for their contribution to the UNICON TDC learning community.
What we're looking for
The strongest proposals will share a real initiative, challenge, experiment, or transformation that offers practical lessons for colleagues across the UNICON community.
Business development and sales: new markets, corporate partnerships, account strategy, pricing, portfolio growth
Client and participant experience: personalization, engagement, community, measurement and impact
Marketing and learner acquisition: positioning, brand, digital marketing, lead generation, customer journeys
Teams and organizational models: restructuring, talent development, culture, collaboration, change management
Program and portfolio design: custom and open enrollment, new products, learning innovation, faculty models
Global growth and partnerships: international expansion, cross-border delivery, alliances and new market models
Operations and delivery: systems, processes, technology, program management, scaling delivery
Strategy and business models: revenue diversification, financial sustainability, new operating models
AI and emerging technology: applications across learning, operations, sales, marketing, client engagement, or strategy
Future of executive education: experiments or emerging approaches that may shape what comes next
These are examples, not limitations. If you've built something your peers could learn from, we'd like to hear about it.
Session format
Each selected how we built tt session will be approximately 60 minutes and should balance sharing with participation.
Walk participants through what you built, why, how you approached it, and the lessons you learned along the way.
Move from presentation to application through a facilitated discussion, activity, working exercise, case challenge, or other interactive format that helps participants translate your experience to their own organizations.
Presenter recognition
Selected presenters will receive formal recognition, such as a digital certificate or badge, acknowledging their contribution as a featured presenter at UNICON TDC 2026.
