Marco Serrato serves as Vice President of Arizona State University's Learning Enterprise, which serves learners across their entire lifespan. Under this role, Marco collaborates with academic units and faculty across the university to identify and oversee opportunities to serve such learners.
Marco has a global understanding of higher education, including professional, executive and continuing education programs across different industries, geographies and emerging technology platforms. He has experience developing initiatives with private, governmental, and nongovernmental organizations in the United States, Latin America, Europe, Asia and the MENA region, including serving as emeritus board member and former chair of the International Consortium for University-based Executive Education (UNICON). He has also served as representative to the University Professionals for Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) and the Latin American and European Continuing Education Network (RECLA).
Prior to joining Arizona State University (ASU), Marco served as associate provost at The University of Chicago and as vice rector for continuing education at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico. He also serves as professor of global strategy and business analytics at Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University and has experience as adjunct faculty at the PhD, master’s, and undergraduate levels. Marco was a visiting scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and has published more than thirty research papers on international peer-reviewed and conference journals, four books, and three book chapters. His contributions in the higher education landscape have been featured by international media including the World Economic Forum and the United Nations, among others.
Marco serves in several corporate and academic boards, including the American University in Cairo’s executive education council. He has also co-founded two start-ups that provide consulting and learning solutions in public and private sectors.
Originally from Mexico, Marco is a first-generation college graduate that holds a double-degree PhD in Industrial Engineering – Operations Research from Iowa State University and Industrial Engineering – Operations Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Dr. John Dixon serves as the Managing Director of School and District Partnerships at the National Education Equity Lab, where he oversees high school onboarding, model implementation, and partnerships with a vast network of schools and districts across the country. A Mississippi native, Dr. Dixon began his career in education as a middle school English teacher through Teach For America. His classroom experience nurtured a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities present in under-resourced schools, fueling his commitment to systemic solutions that elevate every learner’s potential. Dr. Dixon holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Xavier University of Louisiana, a master’s degree in Education Policy and Leadership from American University, and a Ph.D. in K-12 Educational Leadership and Administration from The University of Mississippi. Drawing on his academic scholarship and hands-on practice, he is dedicated to fostering inclusive partnerships and innovative policies that ensure all students thrive.

He leads the Kaunaloa Dual Credit Program, which empowers Native Hawaiian students to earn college credit while exploring career and community impact. Isaac works closely with faculty, counselors, and university partners to design supportive systems that promote student success, cultural grounding, and post-secondary readiness. His leadership integrates ʻŌiwi Edge competencies, personalized advising, and performance-based assessments to help students thrive in both high school and college settings. Passionate about educational equity and innovation, Isaac is committed to reimagining dual credit as a tool for self-determination and lāhui advancement.

Edgar Salmingo, Jr. is the Director of Early College and Online Learning for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, serving nearly 50 high schools in the greater Los Angeles area. He manages the Early College Network, whose schools empower students, especially from low-income and historically underrepresented backgrounds, to earn transferable college credit from four-year universities, including Arizona State University. With a focus on equity and scalability, Edgar designs dual-enrollment pathways with school leaders, partners with higher education institutions, and serves the students to ensure their success. This program aims to bridge high schools, universities, and philanthropy to expand access and support for vulnerable learners. With a passion for program development, teacher growth, and inclusive learning models, he will be sharing his successes (and mistakes to avoid!) on building sustainable dual-credit systems across multiple diverse school communities.

Dr. Lisa Correa is the Assistant Principal (Po’o Kumu Kako’o) for Digital Learning at Kamehameha Schools Maui. She has been part of the Kamehameha Schools Maui kaiāulu (community) for 21 years. As a former high school grade-level counselor, in 2004, she helped launch the first dual credit program on the island of Maui in collaboration with the University of Hawai’i - Maui College. In 2008, Lisa established the College Counseling program at Kamehameha Schools Maui, then created the role of Post-High Counselor in 2017. She then transitioned into administration as the Assistant Principal for the elementary school before accepting her current role to advance digital learning across the K-12 campuses.
Lisa holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work, was a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) in K-12 School Counseling, and has earned her Ed. D. in Education.
In her personal time, Lisa enjoys traveling and seeing new places, reading, and spending time with her husband, Kimo; her daughter, Kaylee, who resides on Oahu; and her son, Jarin, who resides in Japan.

Lenora Ott is the Senior Director of Learning Design for Universal Learner Courses (ULCs) within the ASU Learning Enterprise. ULCs offer a selection of first-year college courses online, open to everyone, allowing learners to explore college-level learning and earn credit at a fraction of the cost—only paying if they pass.
In this role, Lenora leads a cross-functional team of instructional designers, cinematographers, and academic professionals who develop, launch, and continuously improve scalable online courses across multiple modalities, including On Demand, Session-Based, and Classroom Cohort models. Her work focuses on designing learner-centered, evidence-based experiences that maintain high levels of engagement and instructor presence—even at scale.
She holds a Master of Science in Global Technology and Development from Arizona State University and a graduate certificate in Educational Technology with a focus on Adult Learning from Northern Arizona University. Through her leadership, Lenora helps advance the ASU Learning Enterprise’s mission to provide universal access to education and opportunity at every stage of life.

Kristin Hersant is the Global Marketing Officer for ASU Learning Enterprise, where she is dedicated to expanding universal access to opportunity for learners – at every stage in life.
An experienced growth marketer, Kristin has been scaling technology start-ups into market leaders for nearly thirty years. Prior to joining ASU, Kristin was vice president of marketing for Groove, which she grew from an early-stage start-up to one of the top 3 sales engagement platforms, with 70,000 users at companies including ADP, Google, Uber and Capital One. Kristin successfully re-positioned the company as the leading sales engagement platform for global enterprises, increasing deal sizes to six and seven figures while securing a market-leader ranking in the Forrester Wave.
Kristin's extensive career also includes roles as vice president of marketing for Worklete, Linqia, Echo, and Livefyre. Notably, as vice president of marketing for Livefyre, she successfully scaled the start-up to a growth stage company with over 1,500 customers worldwide leading up to its acquisition by Adobe. She also joined StrongView as the tenth employee and first marketing hire, growing it into the #1 email service provider before it was acquired by Selligent in 2016.
Kristin has a passion for building and leading high-performing marketing teams, crafting compelling brand narratives, and leading technology companies through hyper-growth. She also serves as a go-to-market advisor for Scale Venture Partners and is a mentor to early stage startups in the Techstars Anywhere and Techstars San Diego accelerator portfolios.

Alison Ritz, a New York City public school teacher for more than two decades, is now in her seventh year as a faculty member of the Young Women's Leadership School of the Bronx, a public middle and high school for girls. Her courses include Advanced Placement United States Government and Politics, Participation in Government, Economics, and Senior Seminar; she is deeply committed to supporting each cohort as they navigate their final year of high school and prepare for postsecondary life. Each fall, Alison is the cooperating teacher for Poetry in America through the National Education Equity Lab and Arizona State University, with whom she has proudly partnered since the pilot in 2019. An endlessly hopeful believer in community-building and fostering connections, Alison serves as Faculty Advisor for the Riley’s Way Bronx Council and Teacher Advisor on the Student Leadership Network Advisory Committee. Trisha has taught various grade levels and held roles such as Child Development Specialist and University of Hawaiʻi Lecturer. Her journey began in Los Angeles as a substitute teacher, where she discovered a deep commitment to teaching and a drive to improve the education system from within.
As a high school history teacher, Tami built meaningful connections with marginalized students and implemented The Village Nation program to empower Black students—resulting in a significant increase in academic performance. Her leadership quickly extended beyond the classroom, serving as department chair and program coordinator, and eventually transitioning
into school administration.
Now serving as the principal of Da Vinci Connect High School, Tami leads with a student-centered approach, embracing innovative and flexible learning models that meet the diverse needs of all students. In this role, she has championed dual enrollment opportunities and creative educational pathways that prepare students for both college and career success.

Scott is the Executive Director of Universal Pathways at Learning Enterprise. In this role, he manages the Universal Pathways portfolio of Earned Admissions, Accelerate, and the Universal Learner Courses.
Scott graduated from UCLA with degrees in Economics and History, a Master’s in Education and teaching, and later earned a Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a focus on organizational theory at UCLA as well. Scott began his teaching career at Crenshaw High School in Los Angeles and became an Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal at schools in Los Angeles and Hawthorne. Scott oversaw the creation of a professional development institute and annual conference for educators from around the globe while at Da Vinci, serving learners from six different continents.
Before coming to ASU Scott most recently worked with a graduate school of education supervising, supporting, and teaching residents earning their teaching credentials and master’s degrees, and has also taught higher ed courses in teacher education, political science, history, and economics. He supported k-12 organizations bridge to higher ed institutions in a hybrid format to better serve communities, learners, and students and address an acute teacher shortage in critical areas in these communities.
When not reading Political Science or Economics treatises, Scott enjoys hanging out with his wife and three wonderful children and being outdoors.

Dr. Audrey Delfina Moreno is a first-generation college student and Mexican American. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology from Northern Arizona University and completed her Ed.D. at Arizona State University in 2013.
For the past 19 years, Audrey has worked in secondary and postsecondary education, focusing on credit recovery and Early College student populations. She began her career as a counselor in Title 1 charter schools in downtown and central Phoenix before transitioning to Director of Early College at Paradise Valley Community College, where she expanded dual credit opportunities and supported college planning programs for high school students.
Now serving as Senior Director of National Bridge Partnerships within ASU’s Learning Enterprise, Audrey leads Accelerate ASU, overseeing partnerships with school districts, high schools, and community organizations to expand access to college credit through ASU’s Universal Learner Courses. She also spearheads Accelerate ASU: College Now, an initiative aimed at strengthening dual enrollment pipelines in collaboration with community colleges nationwide.
Additionally, Audrey serves on the board of Home Schooling for College Credit, where she helps shape policies and strategies to increase access to early college opportunities for homeschooling families. She specializes in designing college credit pathways and is deeply committed to fostering equitable opportunities for high school students who aspire to earn college credit.
